About Me

My name is Garrett and I have done CrossFit for about 3 ish years.  I grew up playing sports and have always considered myself athletic.  

When college came around, I wasn’t forced to work out anymore, so I didn’t.  Over time, I gained some weight and struggled to find motivation to get into any gym or do any workouts at home or at all.  

Then I found CrossFit.  The workouts were structured, and it was a fun community to workout with.  I was finding that getting to the gym wasn’t as hard as it used to be.  But it was still very inconsistent.  

For the past 3 or 4 years that I have been doing CrossFit, I have been flirting with it.  Well, I am ready to take my relationship to the next level.  I’m ready to commit to consistency and finally lose the weight I have been talking about losing for the past 3 years.  

And I am going to share my journey with you.  I don’t know if I am going to do a weight loss journey portion (possibly at some point), but more sharing what I am learning and any tips I pick up along the way. 

Did I find a brand I enjoy?  I’ll share it with you.  Did I find a fun way to stay motivated?  I’ll share it with you. 

I don’t claim to be an expert in fitness.  CrossFit is something I enjoy and am falling in love with, and I hope to share what I learn along the way with you.  

No matter what your goals are, if you enjoy CrossFit, or are thinking of getting into it, then I hope you find some use out of this blog.  We are on this journey together and can have some fun along the way!
